The Butterfly Effect

Today was my first day in my Personal Development class, which is also my first college course. I learned a great deal already, but the one thing that stuck to me the most was when my Instructor talked about the Butterfly Effect. Of course the first thing you think about is the movie starring Ashton Kutcher, but there's a bigger meaning behind it. It is said, that something as small as the flutter of a butterfly's wings can ultimately cause a typhoon half way around the world, or change it's path. The way I interpreted this is that ONE small action can GRAVELY alter the future, or cause a domino effect. I believe it is also known as "The Chaos Theory". Well, that explains a lot.
